A lady was telling me two weeks after meeting her about her educational credentials on yesterday……that two weeks of coming in contact with her, I kept gathering that she wanted to tell me something....like maybe release something. It was that, that she was able to release to me!! She was telling me also about her educational credentials, and her history of running marathons in elementary, middle, high school, and college. She had been let go of a previous job of 20 years and found herself “somewhere else,” doing, “something else”. She was currently working on her PHD.
On yesterday August 5th, 2026, while she was speaking about her marathons with another individual, I joked with her and said, “how about you invite all of us to run a marathon with you?” She said, “ You not gonna want to get up at 6am to run”. She then went on to say, “ You're not going to want to run 13 miles.” I said, “we can at least meet you there to do half of it.”
I thought about a lot of things via this response. I thought of missed opportunities, lack in seeing the bigger picture, connections, etc among other things. I thought of some other things as well that I won't say in this blog.
In observing people, sometimes there is so much madness ( and understandably so to an extent) concerning their situation, and where they think they should and ought to be that they miss out on the smaller things ( sometimes the smaller things can turn out to be some of the biggest blessings)!! Sometimes we are right where we are supposed to be. Crossing paths with individuals has always been inspiring to me; the fact that there are over 1 billion people on this planet, and I happen to cross paths with you and/or meet you??!!! 🥰🥰😇 How awesome!!
